Thomas Gardiner’s portrait of the Canadian West is an unconventional look at small towns in Canada, with a purpose. Though easy to find, and often seen as “drive thru” places, I feel this body of work captures something different, and unusual compared to images from the South - an area that can be heavily overdone. Maybe I’m just biased because I’m Canadian though?
